August 1 Deadline for Voter Registration for August 23 Primary

In Lee District there is only one Democratic primary election on August 23rd in the 30th Senate District (more about that primary: candidates, district map, etc., click here).

Voter registration closes on Monday, August 1st to be able to vote in the August 23rd primary. Mail-in registration must be postmarked on or before August 1st.
You are eligible to register to vote if you satisfy all of the requirements below:
- A citizen of the United States
- At least 18 years of age by the next general election (Tuesday, November 8, 2011)
- A resident of Virginia
