People’s Climate March this Saturday in D.C.

Join people from all parts of the country as we unite on the streets of Washington, D.C., to demand meaningful climate action. A Virginia Climate Rally before the march is taking shape. It will be held at 10:30 am at Union Station. For updated information, visit the organizers’ Facebook page.

Quickest route into D.C.: Take Metro’s Yellow Line from Huntington to Archives. Walk toward the Capitol.

Marchers will begin assembly along the west front of the U.S. Capitol at 11 am, and begin marching toward the White House at 12:30 pm.

At 3 pm, after the march, marchers will reconvene on the Washington Monument grounds for speeches, music, and art. All of the individual signs will be assembled into one collective message of resistance.
