Common Sense Wins in NoVA

Nov 3rd, 2010 | By

Congressman Moran, Congressman Connolly Win

The election results of November 2nd tell Virginians in the 8th (Moran) and 11th (Connolly) Districts a couple things: 1) positive pragmatic leadership wins, extreme social views don’t, 2) experience matters, 3) undocumented third party spending has no place in good government, 4) our Congressmen are good listeners, pay attention to constituents concerns and work hard on their behalf, 5) voters in the 8th and 11th are smart and can discern between truth and prevarication,  and 6) vandalizing Democratic signs and carpet-bombing of Republican signs are negative behaviors not lost on voters.

As of this posting, 2 precincts results remain pending in Fairfax for the 11th: Lorton Center and Laurel Hill.

Results: VA State Board of Elections, Fairfax County Board of Elections.
